1. Everton – Chelsea

Everton face Chelsea in what appears to be final or maybe first match in the speculation over Marco Silva’s future at helm at the Toffees. The Blues lost the Merseyside derby heavily 5-2 and will be pumped to give something to cheer to their fans after this season is already turning into a nightmare. Frank Lampard’s Chelsea won against A Villa during the midweek with emotional reuniting with their former captain John Terry, now assistant at Villa. Tammy Abraham returned with a goal and assist and there is enough reason to think that the new England international will lead the attack at Goodison Park on Saturday. With emotions to be high as our team predicts, we consider this not to be a highly scoring affair.

2. Bournemouth – Liverpool

The Reds are flying at the minute and produced another splendid display during the Merseyside derby at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp’s side can not be stopped and on Saturday Bournemouth will be the next test for the Reds. Despite being super effective on counter attack, the Reds conceded goals in matches against the likes of A Villa, Brighton, Crystal Palace and our team is thinking that this will be continued as a trend on South Coast on Saturday. Alisson Becker is suspended for the game and the Cherries will definitely try to target his replacement Adrian. It will interesting to see how will Jurgen Klopp adapt to super intensive and high pressing style of Eddie Howe, which side is solid on their home matches.

3. Tottenham – Burnley

Tottenham lost at Old Trafford over the midweek only to break Jose Mourinho’s perfect start at helm at Spurs. The London side will definitely want to make up for the lost at home to Burnley on Saturday in match where Harry Kane is finally expected to score in the league. Spurs find it difficult in the past few years against the Clarets at home but manage to get the win so we expect the variation in the Spurs attack to help them strive under the pressure and get the maximum points in their hunt to be close to the Top 4 and qualify for the UEFA Champions League which is going to be Mourinho’s aim. This and of course finally winning a trophy for the North London side.

4. Watford – Crystal Palace

Watford will seek all 3 points against Crystal Palace in a hard times for the Bees. They are currently without a manager after the sacking of Qique Sanchez Flores and Hayden Mullins who is familiar face in the Premier League will have to act fast and steady the ship. On Saturday Crystal Palace is visiting Vicarage Road and after 2 straight victories, the Eagles are flying high in the table and find themselves comfortably in the top of the table. They will have to cope with the absence of their vital defender Mamadou Sakho after the former France international receiving a straight red card during the narrow win against Bournemouth. The Eagles will have what it takes to make it 3 in a row and the shambles of Watford is set to continue according to our team.

5. Man City – Man United

Man City face Man United in yet another breathtaking Manchester derby in the weekend and form goes out of the window when it comes to the big match at the Etihad. Pep Guardiola’s side is high on confidence after solid display in midweek but need to step up in their chase of Liverpool and can not drop many more points if the Citizens want to make it 3 in a row titles. Sergio Aguero is out of the derby and it’s to be seen whether Gabriel Jesus can continue scoring. Man United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won against Spurs and probably have taken a fresh air but the Red Devils need to produce a series of solid displays in order to prove to their fans that they’ve turned a corner. A very solid test for the United defense and as expected, the flairs will be high for the local bragging rights, so our team expects many fouls and yellow cards.

6. Newcastle – Southampton

Newcastle entertain Southampton in a clash where points will be needed by both teams. The Magpies were impressive last week against Man City and managed to back the good performance by an away win at Sheffield United, so the team will be on high spirits. Southampton got back to back home wins against fellow strugglers and the Saints lifted themselves out of the relegation zone. The Saints need to start picking up points on the road as well if they want to drag themselves out of the relegation scrap they are into currently. The shaky form away from home is too strong and our team considers another Newcastle win.

7. Norwich – Sheffield United

Norwich and Sheffield United face each other in all newcomers affair at Carrow Road where the host will be looking for a win in order to lift them out of the relegation zone. Sheffield United are yet to lose away from home and the record of without a win still stands which is extremely serious achievement by the Blades. Their confidence was damaged by the loss against Newcastle and the Blades will be eager to get points on the board and to keep themselves in the top of the table.

8. Aston Villa – Leicester

Aston Villa host Leicester in a thrilling Sunday encounter at Villa Park and the VIllans will have to perform at their best if they are to get a result against the impressive Brendan Rogers’ side. Leicester won during the midweek to keep themselves on track with Liverpool and the Foxes are continuing to impress this season. Jamie Vardy and James Maddison are red hot on goalscoring form and both scored in the win against Watford. Aston Villa are performing well at Villa Park and the home side will be backed by the home fans which are enthusiastic ever. Our team is considering a draw and end of the good form of Leicester.

9. Brighton – Wolves

Brighton impressed during the midweek and won against Arsenal and now they face another team from the top of the table. This time is team on a high with a strong and experienced squad. Wolves are performing well and are close to the European places, but a fatigue is expected at some point because of the early start of the season and participation in the UEFA Europa League. Wolves are playing with their unique style of play and Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are sitting comfortably in the top of the league and it’s interesting to see whether the Portugal manager will resist temptation into moving to a bigger club. Our team was impressed by Brighton in the last few games and predicts home win or a draw.

10. West Ham – Arsenal

West Ham face Arsenal in a London derby where both teams are not enjoying the best of the season meaning that morale boosting win is a must for both sides. Manuel Pellegrini eased the pressure on himself by winning away at Chelsea and now will be hoping to get another result against bigger opposition. Freddie Ljunberg’s reign have not started not so well after draw against Norwich and loss against Brighton. The problems in defense remain and the Gunners need to improve if they want to qualify to Europe. The loss of confidence in Arsenal’s side is our main reason for thinking that West Ham will win this match.
